the remake of 1984 comedy movie REVENGE OF THE NERDS. She's in negotiations to play college queen SUZY STONE in the project.

In real life, she may prefer the company of Jesse McCartney, but on-screen Katie Cassidy's got a thing for "Nerds."
The "Click" co-star and daughter of David Cassidy has signed on for a lead role in Fox Atomic's unnecessary remake of "Revenge
of the Nerds," set to be produced by McG, with an all-star roster of co-producers including Adam Brody ("The O.C.") and Bret
Harrison ("The Loop").
Kyle Newman will direct.
According to Variety, Cassidy will play Suzy Stone, wildly popular head of the Pi Delta Pi sorority.
The Dimension remake of "Black Christmas" is available on DVD, as are TAKEN and CLICK.
Catch Katie on Melrose Place 2009 every Tues at 9pm EST/PST on the CW.
Her summer run series, Harper's Island, is now available on DVD
US MAGAZINE reports that KATIE has just been cast in the new DALLAS Feature Film! She wil play Lucy Ewing, portrayed on the
